Talkfest with Maria Schwennesen

Dressage Tasmania is pleased to advise that Maria Schwennesen will be hosting a dressage evening on Thursday 29th January at 7.30 pm at the Royal Yacht Club, Hobart. Maria will make a PowerPoint presentation showing the new rule changes which come into effect on the 1st February. Find out what colour and style of jacket or stock you can wear, which spurs, hear about new penalties and learn about more definitions of paces etc etc. Much easier and more entertaining than reading the rule book! A valuable evening for riders, coaches, judges and writers. She will also talk about judging, being judged and will show some tests on a DVD. Maria is also happy to answer any questions you may have!

The Talkfest is FREE for Dressage Tasmania members and $10 for non-members.

Maria wears many hats! She is an FEI 4* Judge, an A Level Judge, a Judge Mentor, Judge Educator and a Young Horse Judge and Educator. We are very excited that she is able to visit Tasmania and contribute to our dressage education.

A buffet dinner will be available at the Yacht Club from 6.45 pm. Meet at the bar for a drink or coffee from 6.15 pm. Buffet Cost: $20 (includes a glass of wine or beer). As this is a private club they do require bookings in advance.
