All Classes:  Run in accordance with current Equestrian Australia (EA) Dressage Rules.

All riders must be an EA or Dressage Tasmania (DT) member.

EA Competitor members may enter any Official test (with grading points awarded).

EA Participant members may enter Official tests from Prep to Novice only – No grading points awarded.

DT members - may enter any unofficial tests

DT & EA members may enter both official and unofficial tests

Official Tests: 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2, 5.1 and 5.2, Prix St Georges, Inter -1, Inter-2, Inter-A, Inter-B, Grand Prix. Official FEI Classes offered subject to judge availability.

Unofficial Tests: Prep A, Prep E, 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2. Tests are open to riders of any age and horses of any height.

Pony Dressage: Run in accordance with current EA Pony Dressage rules and offered at Open (official) level for EA Competitor members only.  Please indicate on your entry if you are entering Pony Dressage.

Young Rider: A Young Rider division (12 to 21 y.o.) will be run in the Open (official) level for Preliminary and Noviceclasses and EA Competitor membership only.    Please indicate on your entry form if you are entering this division.  

InterSchool:  InterSchool divisions are offered in all Official and Unofficial classes. Rider/horse must have correct membership/registration for the class entered as listed above. InterSchool placings are in addition to any placing gained in the open classes and do not attract grading points. InterSchool placings will be submitted to EA and will be run in accordance with the EA Rules for Interschool, Competitors are responsible for knowing and complying with these rules available for download from: www.equestrian.org.au/interschool

Entry Fees:                              

DT Members          $25 per test (EA Open Event)

Non Members        $35 per test (EA Open Event)

DT Closed Event    $15 per test

The Judge Education & Championships Levy of $10 and $5 TEC user fee will be added to your entry.

A 5.5% Fee is charged by Nominate to use their services and will be added onto your entry fee.

Prizes: Ribbons to sixth place in all classes will be distributed with the test sheets.

Notes for Competitors:

1. For insurance purposes, all riders must be entered in the DT competition, to be covered under the DT’s insurance. Any riders who are not involved in the competition will be asked to dismount and leave the competition area for the day.

2. To assist organisers, if you are unable to stay until the completion of the competition please apologise to the day co-ordinator and make arrangements to collect your tests/prizes. A friend may do this, OR you may provide a stamped self addressed business size envelope (with tests entered) for the forwarding of your test sheet(s) to the day co-ordinator.

3. If you would like to receive a copy of future schedules via email, please join Dressage Tas.

4. House keeping:  please clean out your yard and put the manure in the designated area prior to leaving. Dogs are not allowed on the ground. Canteen will be available on the day.

5. Close of entries: Strictly 8pm on the 6th of January, 2017. 

6. Please assist with the pack-up at the end of the day; if you need to leave early please see the Day Co-ordinator prior to leaving to offer assistance.  Remember – it is not the responsibility of the committee or the day co-ordinator to do all the work. 

7. Under no circumstances are riders to approach the scoring team or enter the scoring area: any queries should be directed to the Day Co-ordinator.
