CHANGES TO FEI TESTS

There are new FEI tests effective from 1/1/2018. The main change is that the collectives for paces, impulsion and submission have been removed. There is now only ONE collective mark and that is for the ‘rider's position and seat: correctness and effect of the aids’.

Other changes have been made to the following tests:

  • Inter A

  • Inter B

  • Young Rider Preliminary

The EA FEI Medium Tour Freestyle test will no longer be used from 1/1/2018. The FEI have introduced an FEI Medium Tour Freestyle test and this freestyle test will be effective from 1/1/2018 for all Medium Tour Freestyles.

It is important to note that the EA FEI Tests will no longer be used from 1/1/2018. The EADC is now adopting the FEI tests and it is important to note the following as a result of this:

  • 1st error of course will incur minus 2%

  • 2nd error of course will incur elimination

  • Only 1 Collective mark

Snaffle bridles will still be an option for all EA FEI level tests.

Please note that the error % in the FEI Junior, and Pony tests is as follows:

  • 1st error of course will incur minus 0.5%

  • 2nd error of course will incur elimination
