2017 Australian Masters Games

Showjumping is one of 40 different sports taking place at the 16th edition of the Australian Masters Games, where over 6,000 participants will compete in Tasmania,  from 21-28 October.

The Australian Masters Games is a biennial sporting event that is regarded as one of the premier and largest participation sporting events on the Australian sporting landscape. In 2017, the Australian Masters Games will be hosted in Tasmania's North West.

The event is open to anyone. The only criteria to compete in the Australian Masters Games is that you must meet the minimum age requirement, which in most sports is 30+ years (35+ years for Equestrian). It does not impose qualifying standards and welcomes participants from all over the world.

The Australian Masters Games will also comprise a variety of social events throughout the week including an Opening Ceremony to be held in Devonport and a Closing Ceremony in Burnie, providing a festival atmosphere for both competitors and visitors to Tasmania.

Equestrian (showjumping) will take place from Friday 27 October – Saturday 28 October 2017 at Batten Park, 267 South Road, West Ulverstone, 7315.

Event open to participants over the age of 35 with age categories for 35-44, 45-54, 55-64 and 65+.

The show jumping is being run to accommodate all skill levels of both horse and rider. The fun two days of competition will be held on the last two days of masters and will include a long table dinner for those wishing to attend and  will include Friday night entertainment.

Adequate seating and a marquee are all on site for viewing of the Jumping action with lots of space to spread out a picnic blanket and enjoy the two days.

Full catering is available on site over the two days and camping on site is included. Please advise if you require yards.
