2020 SQUADS FOR SELECTION

State Squad - performances in 2019 at 125cm plus
Development - performances in 2019 1.05m – 1.20m
Young Horse - horses aged 4-7 at 1st August 2019 with performances at 1m and above

• Selection validity February 2020 to February 2021

• Training opportunities either via branch or state based clinics and freshman days. Please

  be aware that trainings are often offered during the Winter/Spring months in lead up to

  the Spring Season.

• Squad riders will have access to Nutrition guidance from Hygain Feeds

  Selection Guidelines and process

  • Riders can nominate more than one horse if they wish however if a rider has more than one horse recognized on the squad they will be limited to two horses at clinics with additional spots offered if vacant.

  • Riders must be current financial members of Equestrian Tasmania and Jumping Tasmania to nominate.

  • Horses must hold a current Equestrian Australia competition license

  • Selection will be based on riders contribution to the sport and current

    performances (past 12 months) nominations with performance outside this time

    can apply for consideration.

  • Riders must accept conditions of nomination listed below

    Selection process is conducted by a State Selectors Panel which has state-wide representation.
