Clear Round Hi-Point Classic

Unfortunately due to the unforeseen EI circumstances which hit us in 2007, organisers have devised a plan to allow 2007 entrants another chance at the Classic.  Special regulations have been discussed to somewhat ‘dissolve’ the 2007 season.  As horses are allowed 2 seasons only, stated by the rules and regulations, organisers will ‘dissolve’ 2007 allowing horses to have their two full seasons - excluding 2007.  For example:

(Note 2007 is bold, to clearly show that horses will have two full years of competition and 2007 as extra.)

Horses entered in 2006 as their first year, will be eligible to compete:

2006, 2007 and 2008

Horses entered in 2007 for their first year, will be eligible to compete:

2007, 2008 and 2009

Horses entered in 2008 will have two years as normal: 2008 and 2009.

With record entries as listed for 2007, the Horseland Classic is proving to be popular among riders with younger/less experienced horses.  Thank you to those who have supported this series so far.

Rules & Regulations

Horses are eligible for the first two seasons following the purchase of an EFA grading card.  Please note those registered in 2007 will be eligible to nominate and their time will conclude 31st December 2008.

Qualifying shows will be the same as ‘Horse of the Year’ plus branch pre-season events (NB Gala Festival, NW Spring Festival & SB Pre-Royal).

95 cm and above, Table A events only.  Only two events per show to count.

Scoring is as follows:

  • 1 point per clear round for 95cm and 1m classes
  • 2 points per clear round for 1.05m classes and above

Prize

The overall winner of the HORSELAND CLASSIC shall be presented with an embroidered woollen Horseland rug and a cash prize at the State Championships.  The highest placegetter from each branch will receive a Horseland Gift Voucher.
