Tasmanian Equestrian Centre
The Tasmanian Equestrian Centre, in Lauderdale in Tasmania’s south has been developed to provide a first class facility for all equestrian disciplines. The land is leased by the Equestrian Federation of Australia, Tasmanian branch, and managed by an independent board of management.
At present there are four User Group associations of the centre; Hobart and Districts Pony Club, the Dressage Association of Tasmania, southern branch, the Tasmanian Show Jumping Association and the Southern Tasmanian Eventing Association.
Any financial member of the EFA Tas can also become a casual user of the centre, whereby riders can make use of many of the first class facilities for having coaching, training or riding with friends. Many riders are already taking advantage of this offer.
Developments are ongoing, but so far the centre is shaping up to be fantastic facility for riders of all ages and levels of experience.
